Another year has passed and Exipelago gained .. just 44 new wishlists over the course of 12 months.
So the conclusion is that there is no interest in this game - I assume the market is just too saturated - combined with the total lack of community, I basically finalize this game and cease any further feature development and rather focus on other software projects.
I know some people still enjoy the game and spend an incredible amount of time building great villages, but such complex games are simply not sustainable with only a handful of local players, so I will end Early Access and the current build is going to be the final version of this game.
It was a great adventure .. but also a frustrating one.
PS: I always was very clear about reasons you should join Early Access or not - I don't even know how I could've been any more clearer about it.
